Learning and feelings

• I'm so bored
  • This is not relevant to me.
    • I spent most of my school time here. (Hyperfocus: coding)
  • This is too easy.
    • A+ spends most of her school time here.
  • Find things she can do (reading, colouring) while paying just enough attention to get the work done
  • Reduce required boring stuff, build on interests: might need to homeschool for this for now.

    • me: Emacs, drawing, singing, piano

  • Bridge: find similar skills in another domain; transfer skills
• This is too hard. I don't know how to get there.
  • This is easy for other people, therefore I suck..
  • Neither of us spends, much time here, as there are lots of other things we can do.
  • If there's motivation, scaffold & teach strategies
  • Some things do get easier later on, because of:
    • changes in motivation
    • related experience/skills
    • maturity
